Pumpkin Picking at Redhouse Farm
Head over to one of Leicester's finest pumpkin fields at Redhouse Farm for some lovely Autumn festivities. There are many reasons why this farm is perfect for young families, the main reasons being that it's free to enter and kids can roam freely in the beautiful countryside.
This is a magical experience for your youngsters as they are learning how things grow, where food comes from and how you can create tasty meals out of farm produce - as well as the joy of picking the pumpkins! And boy, oh boy, are there many beautiful pumpkins to choose from!
There is no booking required and no entry fee. Just grab a wheelbarrow, wander through acres of pumpkins, choose your favourite one and pay for the pumpkins you pick!
Once you've got your pumpkins all that's left to decide is whether to eat them or use them as a decoration. Will it be a fresh pumpkin soup, a delicious pumpkin pie or a big scary pumpkin face?
