Our Arrival & First Impressions
We visited the world's first indoor Lego-themed adventure golf at Legoland Windsor on 25th November 2023 — our second visit since it opened in October. We're a family of three from Shropshire, and after Henry loved the Pirate course on our first spontaneous visit, he was eager to try the Space Mission course this time around. The attraction is located just left of the Legoland main entrance, easily spotted thanks to the huge golf ball outside and themed Lego golfing figures decorating the building.
As Merlin Passholders, we got discounted tickets, though standard prices are a reasonable £10 online or £13 on the day, with free parking for two hours for adventure golf guests. We arrived in the afternoon, which both times has been nice and quiet — no need to pre-book, we simply bought tickets at reception. Inside, the reception area is bright and welcoming, with friendly staff who helped Henry choose the right-sized club straight away. There's also the Tee Time café right there selling Costa drinks, cold drinks, and cakes, which we knew we'd be coming back to after the round.
Activities Breakdown
We decided Henry would play a round on the Space Mission course while we accompanied him, which kept costs down nicely. The staff greeted us warmly, explained the rules clearly, and directed us to the course. Walking past the other three courses — Lego City, Medieval Mayhem, and Pirates Voyage — each looked impressive with excellent theming. The Space Mission course itself is neon-themed, with Lego aliens, rockets, planets, and stars decorating every hole, plus brilliant details like a space dog floating from the ceiling. The first hole serves as a gentle warm-up, with the challenge increasing slightly as you progress through the nine holes. The course took Henry around 30 minutes to complete, with plenty of stops for photos with the Lego figures along the way. It's perfectly designed for ages three and up, though under-14s must be accompanied by an adult.

Space Mission Course Theming
The neon-lit Space Mission course was visually stunning, with Lego aliens, rockets, planets, stars, and even a space dog floating from the ceiling. Every hole had unique details that kept Henry engaged and fascinated from start to finish. - 2
Henry's Hole-in-One

After finishing the course, Henry spent time at the Lego building tables near the café. It was a perfect wind-down activity that extended the visit and let him channel all that Lego excitement into some creative play while we enjoyed a drink. - 5

Food & Drink
The Tee Time café at reception sells Costa coffee, cold drinks, cakes, and biscuits, with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options available. It's a good spot to relax after your game, especially while children enjoy the Lego building tables nearby.
Seating is limited and the set-up feels more like a comfortable waiting area than a full café, so we wouldn't recommend planning a bigger meal here. For anything more substantial, you'd be better off dining in the theme park or at one of the many restaurants in Windsor town. That said, for a quick drink, a slice of cake, and a chance to catch your breath after the round, it does the job perfectly well.
The café adds a really nice touch for those making the adventure golf a standalone trip rather than tagging it onto a Legoland visit. It turned what could have been a quick in-and-out into a more relaxed outing, giving Henry time to wind down with some Lego play while we sat with a coffee. For passholders stopping by after the theme park, it's an easy, low-pressure way to extend your day.
