The North West is home to one of the UK's most beloved pumpkin patch destinations, and the wider region has a great range of farm experiences to suit all family sizes and budgets. From Cheshire's picture-perfect fields to patches across Lancashire and Greater Manchester, autumn is well catered for up here.

Kenyon Hall Farm opens daily from 26 September and grows more than 20,000 pumpkins across an impressive 50 varieties. Pumpkin fairies restock the public patches throughout October, so you'll never miss out. Weekend and half-term dates book up fast, but mid-week slots are usually available.

Across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cumbria, more patches open from early October, with most going daily from around 23 October for the half-term week. The North West has a strong tradition of farm-based autumn events, so you are likely to find picking combined with tractor rides, farm animals and seasonal food wherever you go.
