TUI SplashWorld holidays
SplashWorld is TUI's waterpark-first family concept. Every SplashWorld hotel has a named waterpark on site, with a minimum slide count and lifeguard cover across pool hours.
What actually qualifies a hotel as SplashWorld
TUI's internal spec sets a minimum: three named waterslides, a splash pad with tipping bucket for under-5s, a family lazy river, and constant lifeguard cover. Hotels that only have a couple of slides can't wear the SplashWorld badge, which makes the shortlist genuinely usable.
The best age fit
Six to eleven is the sweet spot. Under-fives can only use the splash-pad section for most of the day, so a Holiday Village with a good kids' club may earn its keep more. Teens usually exhaust the slides in two days; better to fly to a destination like Rhodes with a bigger nearby waterpark like Faliraki instead.
Where SplashWorld runs
- Turkey: Antalya region, the largest SplashWorld cluster. Best value in the range.
- Balearics: Majorca and Ibiza, mid-market pricing.
- Greece: Rhodes and Crete.
- Egypt: Sharm and Marsa Alam, cheapest overall.
Booking notes
SplashWorld sells earlier than any other TUI concept for July and August. Peak weeks in the Balearics disappear by early February. Turkey and Egypt hold availability longer and typically drop £300 to £600 for late deals in mid-May.
Half-board or all-inclusive?
All-inclusive is almost always the right call at SplashWorld. Waterpark days generate constant snack and drink demand, and the walk from slide to hotel restaurant is short but relentless. Half-board with a paid poolside menu tends to cost more by the end of the week.
