Pumpkin Picking at Humble Bee Farm

Carving on site is the detail that will land with anyone who has scraped pumpkin out of a kitchen rug. The festival is built around picking and carving at the farm, so the mess stays where it belongs and you drive home with a finished lantern rather than a job still to do.

Humble Bee Farm is a working farm near Flixton, inland from Scarborough, which also runs glamping and camping. All the pumpkins are provided on site, so there is nothing to bring with you. The child ticket includes one pumpkin and the adult ticket costs less precisely because it does not.

Beyond the pumpkins there is a spider-themed patch, a witch character providing entertainment through the festival and photo spots set up around the site. The farm's own animals are part of the day too, with alpacas, micro pigs and a Shetland pony.

Tickets are required for all guests, including adults who are only there to carry things. Anyone booking a stay in the farm's glamping or camping accommodation gets festival entry included, although camping guests still buy separate pumpkin tickets.
