What to Expect...
A ticket here comes with a pumpkin in it, which is not how most patches work. One homegrown pumpkin of your choice is included, depending on the ticket type you buy, and so are the carving and decorating stations, so the whole job is done before you leave. Sessions run daily from 10 to 31 October.
The farm grows the pumpkins itself and calls this its biggest patch yet. Around the picking there are autumn games and photo opportunities set up across the site. Play is the one thing not covered: outdoor play can be added at a discounted rate when you check out, and soft play tickets can be bought on the day.
Everyone attending needs a ticket, adults as well as children, and child or under-1 tickets have to be bought alongside at least one adult ticket. Booking is strongly advised, because entry without a ticket is not guaranteed. Tickets stay on sale until the day before a session, though popular slots go sooner than that.
Two Friday evenings are run differently. The Late Night Pumpkin Sessions on 16 and 23 October run from 5.30pm to 8.30pm and put the picking under lights, with the carving barn open, live music from Bruce McKenzie, indoor soft play, marshmallow toasting, cocktails and gelato.

Most patches charge for entry and then again for the pumpkin. Here the ticket includes one homegrown pumpkin of your choice, with the ticket type deciding that, and the carving and decorating stations are covered too. You leave with a finished pumpkin rather than a second bill and a job for later.
Friday late nights with live music and gelato
On Friday 16 and Friday 23 October the farm runs Late Night Pumpkin Sessions from 5.30pm to 8.30pm, picking under lights. The carving barn is open, Bruce McKenzie plays live, and there is indoor soft play, marshmallow toasting, cocktails and gelato. Tickets are £13.50 per person and include a pumpkin.
Autumn games and photo spots around the patch
The farm has built the visit out beyond the picking, with autumn games and photo opportunities arranged around the site. It gives children somewhere to go once the pumpkin is chosen, and it is part of why the farm describes this as its biggest ever patch.
