Pumpkin Picking at Standalone Farm

What sets this one apart is that the pumpkin patch comes attached to a traditional working animal farm. The Pumpkin Patch Pass is sold as including farm entry, so the ticket that gets you into the crop also gets you round the livestock, which stretches a short pumpkin stop into most of a morning.

Spooky Standalone is the farm's whole autumn season, built around the returning patch. A Twilight Pumpkin Patch with a Spooky Silent Disco runs on Friday 16 and Friday 30 October, and the zoologist Mark Amey brings a Halloween Creepy Crawlies and More experience to the farm from Monday 26 to Friday 30 October.

Tickets can be booked online or bought in person at the farm. Annual Passholders pay a reduced rate for the Pumpkin Patch Pass and do not need to pre-book, though a valid pass has to be shown on entry, and the farm has confirmed that Stan's Summer Pass is not valid for the 2026 patch.

Very young children are handled gently on price: babies in arms under 12 months go in free and children between 12 months and 2 years pay a small farm admission. A carer accompanying a paying disabled adult or child goes free, with identification required. The cafe is open daily and serves hot food until mid-afternoon. One thing the farm does not publish is whether the pumpkins themselves cost extra on top of the pass, so take something to pay with.
