Pumpkin Picking at Hassop Family Farm

Two days, and that is it. The Enchanted Pumpkin Farm opens at Home Farm in Hassop on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026, and every visitor coming onto the land needs a ticket bought before they arrive.

What makes it worth the drive is that the ground underneath is a working family dairy farm rather than a site built for events. The pumpkin field sits on a farm just outside Bakewell, in the Peak District, that goes back to being a dairy farm the moment the weekend is over.

Alongside the entrance ticket you can book a place at the Zip and Zoom Broomstick Academy, which runs as its own session with its own start time. Sessions begin at 10.35am, 11.25am and 12.15pm on both days, with an extra one at 1.05pm on the Sunday. If you want it, add it when you book your entry, because it is not part of the entrance ticket.

Entry itself is by timed slot, with arrivals spaced half an hour apart from 9am, so the field fills gradually rather than all at once. Everyone needs a ticket, adults included, and booking is handled through the farm's own online booking page rather than at a gate on the day. With only two dates in the calendar and a limited number of slots on each, this is one to settle well before the weekend arrives.
