Pumpkin Picking at Westerton Farm

Admission here is sold by the car, not by the head. One ticket covers everyone travelling in it for the day or session booked, which makes a big family outing work out very differently from most patches. The event runs daily from 9 to 25 October, its eighth year at the farm.

The ticket covers entry to the pumpkin patch and the outdoor farm fun, big bale maze included. Pumpkins are not part of it and are paid for as you pick. Indoor activities sit outside the ticket too, which leaves you to decide how much of the day you want to buy.

Activity wristbands are the main add-on and cost less booked in advance than bought at the farm. A tractor pod ride runs at weekends only and is paid for on the day. Food and drink are served in the farm shop and barn.

The pumpkins are grown on the farm and the patch is on grass, which the farm warns can be tricky for wheelchairs, prams and buggies depending on the weather and ground conditions. Well behaved dogs are welcome on site on a short lead at all times, but not in the play barn unless they are assistance dogs. Tickets cannot be refunded, though they can be transferred to another session.
