Halloween and Pumpkin Picking at Easton Farm Park

This is a whole farm park given over to half term rather than a field with a gate on it. For one week at the end of October, Easton Farm Park runs its Halloween programme, and a visit to the pumpkin patch to take away your own pumpkin is part of the ticket rather than an extra at the till.

The spooky end of it is handled by the Creepy Crawly Maze and the Fright Barn, with the Witches Trail sending children round the farm on a trick-or-treat route. Free Halloween craft activities are laid on, and there is a pumpkin decorating session for anyone who would rather work on a pumpkin than simply carry one home.

What makes the ticket work is that everything the farm normally does is included as well. The animal activities and the rides run as usual, so the day is not only Halloween, and the Willow Barn Cafe opens from 10am each day for homemade food and drinks.

Tickets are booked in advance through the farm's booking pages, and parking is free. Under 2s go free, one carer is admitted free with each paying disabled adult or child, and season ticket holders come in at no extra cost. If a day is not enough, the farm has a campsite, glamping cow sheds and holiday cottages on the same site.
