Kynren's Latest Shows in 2023
Kynren invites history and theatre-loving families to be a part of their spellbinding live action outdoor show, Kynren – An Epic Tale of England! The show is returning for a spectacular seven-week run during the summer holidays, at 11 Arches Park, Bishop Auckland, County Durham.

The 90-minute extravaganza, which is a breathless dash through 2,000 years of British history, will be performed every Saturday from  29th July until 9th September.

Performed by a 1,000-strong cast and crew on a 7.5-acre outdoor stage, the multi-award-winning show follows a young boy, Arthur, on his travel through time. It is packed with thrilling choreography, amazing stunts, incredible equestrianism, world-class special effects and pyrotechnics. The show starts at sunset and ends in starlight with an epic firework finale.

From Boudicca’s battles with the Romans to two world wars, via Vikings, Tudors and the fate of Charles I, Kynren is a family-friendly experience delivering thrills, shocks, tears, laughs, goosebumps and gasps on a panoramic scale.

Food & Drink
Roll up good sirs and madams, it's snack time! Enjoy lots of hot and cold snacks and a good variety of drink options before the action spectacular begins.

You can also refresh yourselves with a full selection of hot & cold drinks.

You can load up on snacks at the food court which is located at the bottom of the main visitor path to the Tribune.

Food will stop being served 30 minutes before the start of the performance and drinks will stop being served 15 minutes before the start of the performance.
