Pumpkin Picking at Attwell Farm Park

Most pumpkin patches send you home with a muddy pumpkin and a kitchen to clean. Attwell Farm Park gives you the option of carving yours in the Carving Barn before you leave, so the mess stays on the farm. Carving is available for pumpkins bought from the farm's own pick-your-own patch, and pumpkins are sold separately from admission.

The Halloween season splits into two halves. Halloween Spooktacular Weekends run on selected weekends between 3 and 18 October, then October Half Term brings Pumpkins and Potions from 23 October to 1 November. Alongside the patch there is a live Harry Panto with magic and illusions, a glow-in-the-dark Bubble Disco, the Creepy Crawly Crypt of insects and spiders, roaming characters and marshmallow toasting.

The farm park underneath all of this is worth the trip on its own. There is giant indoor soft play, an indoor sand play barn and over 80 species of farm animals to meet, which matters on a wet October afternoon when the field is not where anyone wants to be. The cafe serves hot and cold food, with street food added during the Halloween season.

Families with SEN visitors have their own dates. Spooky Autism Friendly Evenings run on selected Fridays between 9 and 16 October as quieter, lower-capacity evenings, and a final Autism Friendly Pumpkins and Potions Evening runs on Sunday 1 November, with consideration given to sound, lighting and character interactions. New for 2026, the farm park offers a free Carers Membership, which requires photo ID and a dated carer's letter.
