Best Things To Do & Days Out In London

London is big and so is our list of fun things to do in London with kids - we’ve got plenty to keep the whole family entertained!

Let us tell you one thing -  taking the little ones to London’s top museums is fun, whether you live in London or you’re just visiting. From coming face to face with real dinosaur skeletons at the Natural History Museum to meeting the costumed actors at the London Transport Museum and trying on a bright red unifor at the Household Cavalry Museum, your mini explorers will have lots to keep them entertained. Make sure you also take a ride on the underground train at the Postal Museum and check out their lovely postal-themed role play area for the kids too.

Want to see  the sights? Go to the top of The Shard or take a ride on the London Eye for a bird’s eye view of the city and see all the famous landmarks, including Tower of London, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. How many can you spot?

After an animal day out? Take a walk on the wild side at London Zoo where you’ll have a roaring good time spotting lions, lemurs and lots more. It’s also one of the top zoos in the UK. For a peek into the wonderful world of the deep oceans, check out SEA LIFE London Aquarium. Or if you fancy making friends with the local farm animals, head out to Surrey Docks Farm, it happens to be one of the best free things to do in London with kids

Kids have plenty of energy to burn, so we’ve got many active family days out in London to offer too. Water fun at Leyton Leisure Lagoon, outdoor high ropes adventures at Go Ape Battersea Park and shooting lasers at Star Command Laser Tag - just to name a few.

We couldn’t possibly describe all the fun things to do in London in this little intro but we surely have most of them listed below for you to explore. Time to discover London’s best family days out!
Oh, before you go, we've got a handy breakdown of the UK school holidays to help you plan as many activities with the little ones as you can this year.
