Pumpkin Picking in Scotland 2026

Scotland's pumpkin picking season officially gets going from around 10 October 2026, a week or so later than patches in England and Wales. But with 12 verified patches spread across the country, from Edinburgh and East Lothian to Aberdeen, Stirling, Fife, Highland and South Ayrshire, there is plenty to discover.

Scottish patches tend to open for weekends first, moving to daily access in the final week of October for half term. Most close on 31 October, with a small number running into the first weekend of November.

The Scottish pumpkin patch scene is growing year on year, and the farms that run events up here put real effort into making them a proper day out, with pick-your-own fields, seasonal activities and a welcome that feels genuinely local.
