Week of Wickedness at Skylark Farm

For two weeks at the end of October, Skylark's Funyard is given a spooky makeover and renamed the Week of Wickedness. The useful part for families is that nothing is taken away to make room for it: every Funyard attraction stays open, and the farm's themed Maize Maze is included in the same ticket.

Pick your own pumpkin is open to all ticket holders for an extra fee, with the pumpkin itself charged by size once you have chosen it. Carving is part of the event, so children can take home a finished lantern rather than an uncarved pumpkin in a carrier bag. A spooky comedy and magic show runs every day of the event, which gives families somewhere to sit down in the middle of the afternoon.

Animal feed pots are sold separately from 60p if the children want to feed the animals while you are there.

The farm asks people to arrive early to make the most of the day, and the timings back that up: last entry to both the maize maze and the pumpkin patch closes an hour before the site does, so a late arrival loses the two things most families come for. Tickets cost less booked online than at the standard price, and Skylark says it has cut its 2026 prices by £3 per ticket against last year. Children aged 2 to 15 pay slightly more than adults, so a family of four is priced differently here than at a typical attraction.
