Pumpkin Picking at Cotswold Farm Park

Carving is the thing that sets this patch apart from a field with pumpkins in it. It is included in all experience tickets, free for members and available to buy on the day, and a carving kit comes with it, so you can take the pumpkin home and finish the job at the kitchen table if the light goes or hands get cold.

Pumpkins are picked straight from the patch and priced by size, running from small ornamental gourds up to giant whoppers, which leaves room for a child who wants something they can carry and a parent who wants something they cannot. Selfie stations are set up around the patch, and face painting runs at weekends only.

Not everyone wants the carving. Access only tickets are sold for visitors who would rather just pick, and any Farm Park guest can get into the Pumpkin Patch as long as they come on an event day. Tickets are bought in advance through the venue's booking system.

Dogs are welcome in the Pumpkin Patch, with a designated bin for dog waste, but they cannot go into the Farm Park itself, which is worth knowing if you had planned to put the two together in one visit.

Food comes from onsite trucks, with pumpkin spiced latte and other hot drinks alongside seasonal specials including pie and mash and waffles. The venue says it is committed to making the Pumpkin Patch accessible to all visitors.
