Pumpkin Picking at Little Owl Farm Park

Admission here buys a day at a farm park rather than an hour in a field. The Spooky Harvest Festival Week ticket covers the pumpkin patch experience and all of the regular fun of the farm, which means over 90 breeds of birds and animals and several indoor and outdoor play areas alongside the seasonal activities.

Half term brings a mystical potion class, a make your own chocolate apple session and a brand new dragon cave challenge, as well as the pumpkin patch itself. Two things have changed for 2026 and are worth knowing before you set off. The tractor and trailer rides up to the Top Fields to choose a pumpkin are no longer running, and pumpkins are now sold from a new area called Cobweb Hollow instead.

Pumpkins are paid for separately from admission, so budget for those on top of the ticket. Several of the workshops carry their own small charge too, and each one costs less booked ahead than paid for on the day.

The same is true of admission, which is a pound per person cheaper booked in advance. October half term falls in the school holidays, so it is charged at the standard rate rather than a quieter weekday price. With play areas under cover as well as outside and a typical visit running to three or four hours, this suits a day planned around the farm rather than a quick pumpkin run. Families expecting to come back more than once or twice may want to look at the annual passes.
