What to Expect...
A month-long Pumpkin Festival rather than a weekend in a field, this runs from the start of October through to 1 November and packs a great deal in around the picking itself. You can still take your own pumpkin straight from the field during October, but that is one activity among many here.
New for 2026 is the Pumpkin Village, built from pumpkin mountains and rustic displays holding hundreds of squashes and gourds, from tiny ones up to giants. Alongside it there is a towering Scary Maize Maze with a treasure hunt to solve inside, and a Jurassic Halloween Tedventure with animatronic dinosaurs.
The rest of the festival fills the day out: marshmallow roasting pits, Sorcery School, fancy dress competitions and ghost stories. Some of these run at selected times through the day rather than continuously, so it is worth working out the order of your visit when you arrive rather than drifting between them.
Admission covers every indoor and outdoor area, including the permanent indoor play area, so there is somewhere dry if the weather turns, and all the farm animals are included too. Tickets are an online exclusive and are not sold on the gate, so book before you set off. Pumpkins are not part of the ticket and are bought separately on the day. Allow three to four hours.

The festival stretches well past pumpkins. Some of it runs at selected times rather than all day.
Indoor areas included, so rain is not fatal
Admission covers all of the indoor and outdoor areas, including the farm's permanent indoor play area, which means there is somewhere dry to go if October behaves as October usually does. The farm animals are part of the same ticket, so nothing inside the gates costs extra except the pumpkins.
