What to Expect...
The Halloween season here has a name of its own. Witchville takes over the fields off the A338 at Bickton each October, on the edge of the New Forest just outside Fordingbridge, and gathers pumpkins, mazes and making sessions under a single banner.
Mazes are the backbone of the visit. The Living Maze is the main one, and the Witchling Quick Maze is the shorter option, which is useful if you have a toddler who will not last the distance. A separate Scare Maze sits alongside them for anyone who wants the version with a fright in it, so a family can split up and each take the walk that suits them.
Away from the mazes there are Witchcrafts sessions, pumpkin graffiti for children who would rather decorate than cut, and pumpkin carving for those who want a finished lantern to carry home. Howloween at Dogville is part of the 2026 line-up as well, so the programme reaches past the pumpkin field itself.
Tickets are sold online in advance rather than on the gate, and the farm asks you to book to claim your spot, so this is a trip to plan rather than one to fold into a spare afternoon.

Not every child wants to be handed a carving knife. Pumpkin graffiti lets younger visitors decorate the outside of a pumpkin instead, and Witchcrafts sessions are listed among the activities too, so there is a sit-down making option as well as the fields and the mazes.
On the edge of the New Forest
Bickton sits on the A338 just outside Fordingbridge, which makes this an easy addition to a wider day in the New Forest rather than a destination on its own. Howloween at Dogville joins the 2026 activities, so there is more listed than pumpkins and mazes.
