First Choice free child places 2026
First Choice is TUI's all-inclusive-first sister brand, and its free child places scheme sits on top of some of the strongest all-inclusive family hotels in the Med. If a fully-included holiday is what you want, First Choice is often the sharpest way to get a free place applied to it.

First Choice in one paragraph
First Choice is owned by TUI Group and operates as the all-inclusive-only brand within the group. Where TUI sells rooms on every board basis from bed-and-breakfast to all-inclusive, First Choice concentrates on all-inclusive packages, and its hotels are chosen for how well their inclusions actually work for families. The airline that flies you there is TUI Airways.
Why the "free" is worth more here
On a half-board TUI booking, a free child place removes the child's accommodation and flight. On a First Choice all-inclusive booking, it also removes the food, drinks, snacks and typically some activities the child would otherwise be charged for. That's why the same rack-rate saving translates to a bigger real-world discount on a First Choice package than on a half-board equivalent.
Concepts you'll see
- Splash Resorts: First Choice's answer to TUI's SplashWorld. Waterpark-first family hotels with named slides.
- Holiday Village: shared with TUI, family villages with kids' clubs and entertainment.
- Premier All Inclusive: adult-facing branding, but many hotels welcome families with older children.
- Sensatori (also shared with TUI): the four- and five-star tier.
Where First Choice is strongest
- Turkey: unmatched all-inclusive value for Antalya, Marmaris and Bodrum. Free places on longer stays make a real difference here.
- Rhodes and Kos: growing Splash Resort presence.
- Balearics: overlap with TUI's own-brand hotels; check whether the identical hotel is cheaper on TUI or First Choice.
- Dominican Republic and Mexico: long-haul all-inclusive, which First Choice does well when families want a "walk in, don't think" trip.
Booking mechanics
- Search First Choice's own site rather than starting on the general TUI site, because First Choice's filters are tuned to all-inclusive-first inventory.
- Apply the free child places filter on the results page.
- If you find a First Choice free-place package, run the identical hotel and date on TUI as a cross-check. The same room can appear on both with a slightly different total.
