Spook-Fest and Pumpkin Picking at Crealy

Halloween at this Devon theme park is built around Spook-Fest, which takes over three weekends and the whole of October half term. The pumpkin is not the main event here, but it is included: every child picks a free one to take home from the specially decorated Pumpkin Garden, and Annual Pass holders need to show their pass to claim theirs.

Because entry is a theme park ticket, the pumpkin comes attached to more than 60 rides and attractions. Two rides are new for 2026, Pirates' Plummet: Blindfolded and ROTOR: Extreme Hour. Three scare mazes run through the season, the Creakier Hotel, the Scarecrow Scare Maze and Buddy's Spook Maze, the last of which is pitched at younger visitors.

Under 10s also have Buddy's Trick or Treat to themselves. Live entertainment fills the gaps between rides, with the Magic and Misfits Illusion Show, a Halloween Sooty Show and character meet-and-greets across the day.

This is a full day out rather than an hour in a field, so plan the day around it. Booking online costs less than paying at the gate, and entry is free for children under 92cm tall, which means the charge is set by height rather than by age. There is camping, glamping and lodges on site if you would rather stay over and spread the visit across two days.
