Enchanted Farm at Cattle Country Farm Park

Regulars should know that the format has changed. The much-loved pumpkin patch at this south Gloucestershire farm park has been rebuilt for 2026 as an all-new Halloween event called Enchanted Farm, described by the farm park as a combination of outdoor adventure, indoor play and magical Halloween entertainment for children of all ages.

Choosing a pumpkin to take home is still part of it, so the reason most families came in the first place has survived the change. What sits around it is broader than a field visit: the farm park has indoor as well as outdoor play, and there are farm animals to meet and feed, which matters on the kind of October day when being inside for a while is a relief rather than a disappointment.

The event does not run continuously through the month. It opens on select dates between 3 and 31 October, taking in every weekend, 3 and 4, 10 and 11, 17 and 18, 24 and 25 October, plus the October half term. Tickets are sold in advance through the venue's own website.

Cattle Country sits at Berkeley between Gloucester and Bristol, and the same farm park runs Christmas On The Farm from 5 to 23 December 2026, so there is a reason to come back once the pumpkins have gone.
