Nestled in the heart of Durham, East Grange Farm has been a beloved destination for families during the Halloween season for generations. It has one of the biggest pumpkin patches in the North East! And has become a local legend, known for its picturesque charm and a wide variety of pumpkins in all shapes, sizes, and colours.

When you step into the pumpkin patch at East Grange Farm, it's like entering a Halloween wonderland! You'll be greeted by thousands of pumpkins! From bright orange to luminous yellow pumpkins of all sizes, from petite pumpkins perfect for little hands to massive giants that could give Cinderella's carriage a run for its money!

These pumpkins are not just vegetables; they're canvases waiting for your creative touch to turn them into spooky jack-o'-lanterns or charming autumn decorations. And you can discover 17 varieties of pumpkins that are 6 different colours! 

Fun for All Ages

East Grange Farm is a place where the young and the young at heart can revel in Halloween festivities. It's not just about picking pumpkins; it's an experience that will create lasting memories for your family. And it's the perfect environment for the best autumnal and Halloween-themed photos! 

Then enjoy some thrilling fairground rides that will have you laughing and screaming your heads off! Before sitting down for a caricaturist rendition of you and the family!

There's also a hunt for the golden pumpkin...can you find it? It's hidden multiple times a day and the winner will receive a pack of sweet treats!

On the 20th and 21st October there'll even be FIRE acts joining the farm! So, your pumpkin picking day out is going to be fang-tastic! Not to mention the children's disco on the 30th and 31st October! 

You'll find an array of activities to celebrate the spooky season. 

Pumpkin Carving

The heart of the adventure, of course, is picking your very own pumpkin. Kids will delight in exploring the patch, searching for that special pumpkin that calls out to them. Will it be the roundest one? The quirkiest shape? The most vibrant orange? The possibilities are endless! 

But the fun part is the carving... From spooky smiles to goofy faces! Head to the carving station and carve your own Jack Skellington, your favourite character or just a simple face - be as creative as you want. 

Face Painting

Transform into your favourite Halloween character with frightfully fun face painting Whether your little ones dream of being a wicked witch, a spooky ghost, or a friendly pumpkin, their skilled artists will bring their fantasies to life.

Family Photo Ops

The farm is brimming with picturesque spots that beg to be the backdrop for family photos. Capture the joy and excitement of the day as you wander through the pumpkin patch, pose with your pumpkin or even in front of a hay bale! 

There's plenty of spooky photo opportunities dotted around the farm!
