Do your kids love everything about The Gruffalo and the story with it’s beloved characters? Well, you should spend a family day out and head to the nearest Gruffalo trail near you! It’s the perfect excuse to get out and enjoy some fresh air, moving your body and enjoyable for your kids too.

With the Gruffalo self-led trail, your kids can dive into a fun navigational challenge in the great outdoors and hunt for the Gruffalo sculptures and orienteering courses. A brilliant outdoor activity to get the whole family stuck into. There are currently 11 Gruffalo trails in the UK and we’ve made an easy list for you to locate the Gruffalo trail near you!

With 11 Forestry England forests spread across the UK, you’re bound to find a Gruffalo trail near you. To make your next weekend adventure, a fun-filled one, your kids will love you (and your furry friends too)! They’ll be excited about some Gruffalo orienteering trails and before you set off, you can pick up a Gruffalo orienteering leaflet with a certificate and map for only £1.50! After that, you’re all set.

You can either walk, run or have a go on the cycling trails! And along the way, you’ll be blessed with stunning views and other orienteering routes, as you take in the beautiful woodlands around you. Great for nature lovers, as you absorb all aspects of nature.
