Who can enter the Chief Holiday Tester competition?

Any UK-based family with at least one child under the age of 12 can enter. You’ll just need to be happy creating content (like photos or videos) during your holidays and appearing in promotional material from Day Out With The Kids and TUI (with your consent, of course!).

What exactly does the winner get?

The winning family will be sent on multiple paid TUI holidays across Europe over a 12-month period. You’ll test out family-friendly resorts and share your honest thoughts, from splash parks and kids’ clubs to food, entertainment, and beyond.

It’s simple! First, head to the TUI website using the button on this page and find three hotels you’d love to stay at, one each in these price ranges per person: Under £500 £500–£1,000 £1,000+ Then come back here and fill out the entry form, including the names of the hotels you chose and a few questions about your family.

How will the winner be chosen?

We’re looking for a fun, enthusiastic family who can give honest feedback and capture great memories along the way. Entries will be reviewed by the teams at TUI and Day Out With The Kids, and the winning family will be contacted by email only after the competition closes on 04/08/25.

When does the competition close?

Entries close at midnight on 04/08/25. Make sure you’ve completed your form and submitted it before then!

When will the holidays take place?

Dates and destinations will be arranged directly with the winning family once they’re selected, but all trips will take place within 12 months of the winner being announced.

Do I need to be good at social media or have a big following?

Not at all! We’re not looking for influencers, just real families who love to travel and can share their honest experiences with us in photos, videos or written feedback.

Can I apply more than once?

Promoters The competition is run jointly by Day Out With The Kids (DOWTK), registered at First Floor, 1 The Courtyard, 707 Warwick Road, Solihull, B91 3DA, and TUI UK Limited. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to both organisations jointly. 2. Eligibility This competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over. Entrants must be the legal parent or guardian of at least one child aged 12 or under at the time of entry. The winning family must consist of 1-2 adults and up to four children (aged 0–17). Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoters, affiliated partners, or agencies directly involved in this promotion are not eligible to enter. Only one entry per family is permitted. 3. How to Enter To enter, complete the Typeform available on www.dayoutwiththekids.co.uk during the competition period. All questions must be answered truthfully and to the best of your ability. Entries must be submitted during the live competition period, 3rd June - 4th August 2025. Entries received outside this period will not be valid. No purchase is necessary to enter. 4. The Prize One winning family will be appointed as the official TUI Chief Holiday Testers for 12 months. The prize includes a minimum of three (3) all-inclusive TUI holidays to European destinations between Summer 2025 and Summer 2026. Each trip will include: Return flights from a UK airport All-inclusive accommodation at a TUI-approved resort Airport transfers in the destination country Trips will be arranged in collaboration with TUI and must be taken within the specified time frame. Destinations and timings will be selected by TUI and are non-negotiable. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and has no cash alternative. 5. Winner Requirements The winning family agrees to: Take part in 3–5 trips over the 12-month period. Create and share content from each holiday, including photos, videos, social media posts, and written feedback. Provide honest reviews and experiences to be used across DOWTK and TUI’s marketing platforms. Content may be published on both brands’ websites, social channels, and in paid media or press features. The family must be comfortable being filmed or photographed and featured in promotional material. 6. Winner Selection The winner will be selected and notified by email. If the winner cannot be reached or does not respond within 7 days, we reserve the right to offer the role to a runner-up. 7. Additional Terms The Promoters reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition and these terms where necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. By entering, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions and the decisions made by the Promoters, which are final. The winning family must hold valid passports with at least 6 months’ validity from the date of each trip. Travel insurance is not included and must be arranged by the winning family.
