Our Hide & Secrets Adventure Play ticket includes all-day entry to the Gardens as well as access to the Hide & Secrets Adventure Play area (please note that entry to the House is not included). Alternatively, the House, Gardens & Adventure Play ticket offers all-day entry to the House, Gardens, and Hide & Secrets Adventure Play, giving you full access to everything the estate has to offer.

Wander through Burghley’s award-winning gardens where tranquil pathways, seasonal colour, striking sculptures and imaginative landscaping create a truly unforgettable outdoor escape. The Hide & Secrets play area is an epic wooden playground bursting with fun at every turn. Race down giant twisting slides, scramble up rope bridges and climbing towers, and sneak through secret tunnels.

The Sculpture Gardens are lovely to walk around with pretty flowers, cool sculptures, and quiet spots to sit and have a picnic. It’s a great place to enjoy fresh air, explore paths, and take nice photos.

Burghley House is located on the edge of Stamford, Lincolnshire, and is well signposted from the surrounding area.
Plan Your Route: From your location, head towards Stamford using the most direct main roads or motorways.
Approach via the A1: If travelling on the A1, take the exit for
Stamford/Burghley House.
Follow the Signs: Once near Stamford, follow the brown tourist signs for Burghley House.
By Bus:
The nearest bus route is with Delaine and it stops outside the Main Visitor Entrance on Barnack Road.
By Train:
The nearest train staton is Stamford which is half a mile from the Parkland entrance and 1.5 miles to Burghley House.
There are bike racks for those who wish to cycle.
Hide & Secrets is open daily during February Half Term 14 to 22 February and from 14 March to 1 November 2026. The House opens on 14 March 2026 Sunday to Thursday, closed on Fridays.
