The Gruffalo Discovery Land
Bringing the story of The Gruffalo to life, you can wander through the deep dark wood and encounter all of the much-loved characters in the story - Mouse, Fox, Owl, Snake and of course, The Gruffalo himself. Inspired by the bestselling children’s book The Gruffalo written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, you’ll follow the story of the small mouse and his giant imagination as he starts his journey interacting with every character along the way. With interactive animatronics, short clips from The Gruffalo film and immersive buttery and goat walk-through enclosures, you’ll be transported to a fun family adventure. You can follow the path into Fox’s Underground House, peak through Owl's Treetop House and sneak into Snake’s Logpile House, before encountering The Gruffalo! Twycross Zoo Animals
Any animal lovers out there? Discover hundreds of different animals from cheeky chimpanzees to giant giraffes, including some of the most endangered on the planet, from tigers and rhinos to meerkats and more! Not forgetting beautiful tropical birds and insects too - you can follow the journey of a caterpillar to a chrysalis to butterfly!
Twycross Zoo is the only place in the UK home to the four great apes – the closest living cousins to the human race! Listen and learn about all the animals at Twycross zoo from their expert rangers, the perfect opportunity to ask your animal questions at the daily talks around the zoo.

Animal Experiences
Get up close and personal with some of your favourite animals, with a range of animal experiences, animal encounters, or tours! It’s also a great chance to meet the knowledgeable keepers and ask those need-to-know questions!
From tigers, meerkats and giraffe encounters, great ape tours or being a zoo keeper for a day. Not only will you make memories but you will also be contributing to the zoo’s conservation work, helping to save animals from extinction. Plus, anyone would love to meet these amazing animals.

Feeling peckish? It's time to feed those grumbly tummies! Head The View Restaurant for a scrumptious meal - from freshly made pizza and pasta to vegetarian foods too!
Maybe the Catch Fish Bar is something up your street? Delicious fish and chips are enough to satisfy those empty tummies!
