Chessington World of Adventures Resort Big Thrills
Fly like a bat on Vampire, soar like a dragon on Dragon's Fury, or slither like a snake on Kobra. Embark on a magical journey with the characters from Room on the Broom, visit the enchanted library and face the Dragon to help the Witch and her Cat. Then, venture into the deep, dark woods to meet the Gruffalo, as you float down the lazy river on The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure.
If you're all about heights, try the Croc Drop. Being a major attraction and thrill ride, Croc Drop will have you plunging 25m down into the giant jaws of Sobek the ancient Egyptian Crocodile God... If you've got little monkeys, take them on Monkey Swinger, where they can achieve their dreams of flying high through the trees. Ready to take on a thrill ride like no other? Why not look around while on the Tiger Rock log flume? You can spot the resident endangered Amur tigers.
Chessington World of Adventures Resorts' Water Rides
For nautical-themed attractions hop on board the Blue Barnacle as you go on a fun-filled nautical adventure. Then make a splash on River Rafts, a mini-log flume for those water babies.
Or about the Sea Dragons? Fancy a circular family boat ride? With Seastorm you'll be fighting the waves as you take your boat for a spin! Finally, with Griffin's Galleon, you can ride the waves as you swing back and forth with the fun-loving crew. With these splashing thrill rides, you'll either get wet or fail trying to stay dry!
Little Thrills at Chessington World of Adventures Resort
We can't forget the little ones though. Join Elmer on the first-ever Elmer-themed ride! Pick your favourite patchwork Elephant and take to the skies. You'll find plenty of smaller thrill rides and popular attractions here, full of special effects and excitement.
If you want to venture into the rainforest, Treetop Hoppers will have you bouncing over the canopy as you catch a glimpse of the wildlife that lives high above the jungle, note the minimum height restrictions of 0.9m.
Staying in the jungle, you and the family can journey through the Rainforest with Jungle Rangers. The kids are in control and will navigate along the bumpy roads. Can you spot all the wildlife out there? If they want to get on the wild side, you can also travel on a safari truck adventure with Zufari: Ride Into Africa! An off-road journey where you can spot some of your favourite animals, outside of their animal enclosures!
There's also Temple of Mayhem where little kiddies can enjoy an indoor adventure with foam balls and more!
Chessington World of Adventures Resort Park & Zoo
But if you love animals, then head on over to Chessington Zoo and Chessington SEA LIFE Centre. You can discover over 1,000 amazing animals. Whether it's Asiatic lions and lowland gorillas in the gorilla enclosure, or golden-headed lion Tamarins, the southern white rhino, the Bolivian squirrel monkeys and penguins. Not to mention the many underwater creatures they have at the Chessington SEA LIFE Centre.
Head on over to Wanyama Reserve to see the gentle giants. Visit the southern white rhino, one of the biggest animals on earth but heavily endangered. Don't forget to explore the tiger enclosure and watch the most majestic animal, Amur Tigers, with Europe's first overhead trails! You'll meet all of Amur's tigers: Tsar, Kyra, Olga and Kalinka in the Land of the Tiger. At Chessington Zoo you'll see a whole host of animals that you may not have seen before.
