This ticket gives families a practical London museum day out with a difference. You can ride Mail Rail through the old underground postal tunnels, then head above ground to explore exhibitions packed with stories, objects and hands-on displays about the history of the post.

    Mail Rail is the museum’s standout experience, taking visitors through the tunnels of London’s old underground postal railway. One ride is included with your museum ticket and is valid on your first visit.

    Add Sorted! for under 8s

    Sorted! The Postal Play Space is a separate indoor play experience for children aged 1-8. Sessions last 45 minutes and include mini streets, pulleys, chutes, slides and role-play spaces.

    See The Jolly Postman

    The Jolly Postman is the current live family exhibition, running from 14 February 2026 to January 2027. Families can follow the postman’s delivery route through an interactive story world inspired by the Janet and Allan Ahlberg classic.
