Try the fan favourite, The Smiler… home to the world's first 14-loop rollercoaster! A twisting track that hits speeds of 80km and a track 3x longer than the jaw-dropping Oblivion. A rollercoaster with a vertical drop into a cloud-filled chasm, can you hack the drop?
Need speed? Try Rita, a hydraulically launched steel sit-down coaster, one of the best thrill coasters at Alton Towers and the UK's fifth-fastest rollercoaster! Going from 0 to 100mph real quick, you won't even have time to scream before you're back.
Are you a fan of horror and the unknown? Try out the Wicker Man...wood and fire - is that a good combination? Or head to The Gloomy Wood and tackle Th13teen's, the world's first vertical free-fall drop rollercoaster or Nemesis Reborn's dominating drops and intense inversions in the Forbidden Valley!
Can you escape The Wraith creatures, a darkness set to trap you… Find out, and we'll see you on the other side. Could you handle The Curse at Alton Manor? It's a haunting, dark ride that takes you on a hair-raising journey with terrifying twists and turns. Did you think we were finished yet? Absolutely not!
The Alton Towers Dungeon is another dark ride that takes 45 minutes to explore the depths of the dungeon. During this experience, you'll discover six themed areas, five shows, and a boat ride.
Love ocean life? Head to Sharkbait Reef for some aquatic fun. From exploring sea life with a huge collection of Blacktip sharks, chocolate chip starfish, spotted stingrays and the UK's first Tropical Interactive Pool - you'll leave knowing more about the ocean and its creatures.

Water Rides at Alton Towers
Now, if you need a cool-off, take a splash at Alton Towers' water coaster, Congo River Rapids. Drift along the river before getting drenched in water as you spin and bump around corners. Nobody will leave dry! But if you want more and believe one day isn't enough, then you can always stay at the Alton Towers Hotel -Splash Landings!
During your stay, you'll make fantastic Alton Towers memories at the water park and play a round of extraordinary 9-hole Golf! The water park has a whole host of splash-tastic rides, from the Flash Floods flume ride to the Bubbly Wubbly pool, Master Blaster water slide, and much more.
Little Thrills
There are plenty of small thrills and giggles at Alton Towers, with a visit to CBeebies Land and CBeebies Land Hotel!
With 15 amazing rides and attractions for the tiny tots, they'll spend a day of excitement here. They can meet all their favourite characters, including the GO Jetters, Igglepiggle, and Postman Pat. Plus, don't miss the Teletubbies live show!
The Something Special Sensory Garden is the perfect place for kids who thrive on sensory attractions. They can follow Mr Tumble's spotty bag trail and look for special objects dotted around the woodland for some interactive experiences. Head down to Cuckoo Cars Driving School, where they can take the wheel of teeny cars and show off their super-cool style in Cloud Cuckoo Land! There are 30 cars to travel in, so your kids have plenty of choices and meet all the cool characters.
CBeebies Land is home to the In the Night Garden Magical Boat Ride. Meet your favourite characters along the way! If your kids love imaginative play, then start your day on the Get Set Go Treetop Adventure, where you can wake up the sleeping bugs and set off on your ride together.
Don't forget about the Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure, too, where you can join Captain Barnacles and his crew on their rollercoaster adventure. Then join the mischievous Peter Rabbit on his Hippity Hop ride - fly to new heights and unleash your inner bunny. And help Postman Pat deliver his packages as you drive along in his red van!

The nearest train stations are Uttoxeter which is 10 miles from the resort, Stoke on Trent which is 15 miles away or Derby Train Station which is 25 miles away.
By Bus
You can board the X41 bus that runs between Stafford - Uttoexter and Alton Towers. Or the 32X that runs between Hanley and Cheadle to Aton Towers.
By Car
Alton Towers Resort is located between the M1 and M6, so it's easy to access.
