Ready for a day out that’s hilarious and horrifying? York Dungeon is the ultimate blend of comedy, chaos and creepy tales from the city’s darkest days.
You’ll journey through 2,000 years of York’s most twisted history as brilliant live actors, eerie effects and immersive sets plunge you into a world of traitors, witches and terrible smells. Step into the courtroom of madness, face the wrath of the Vikings, and try not to flinch in the Torture Chamber. Every scene is packed with jumpy surprises, grim giggles, and stories you won’t believe are (mostly) true.
Step into the story as a cast of creepy (and comical) characters lead you through York’s darker side. With jumpy surprises, clever jokes, and immersive sets, each show is packed with laughs, gasps, and moments you won’t forget.
This isn’t your average museum exhibit! Watch out as the Torturer invites you to the front for a little… demonstration. Don’t worry, it’s all part of the show...but we won’t blame you if you squirm (or giggle nervously).
Lose yourself in this spine-tingling mirror maze, where nothing is quite as it seems. With whispers in the dark and the witch’s curse hanging in the air, the only way out is to keep your cool… and maybe your sense of direction!
