Combine two days out in one or simply have a splashtacular time in the tropical seas of Staffordshire at The Alton Towers Waterpark.
This waterpark has pretty much every trimming available, from the soothing sounds of the Bubbly Wubbly pool (our favourite name in the place) to the fully interactive Wacky Waterworks Treehouse. Once up in the canopy, kids can pull ropes, shoot cannons and whizz water wheels as fast as they’ll go. As well as loads of rides (check out the Master Blaster!) and space to play, the park also has a balmy indoor temperature so you could just as well be kicking back on a tropical island.
It’s fantastically handy that this park is sat alongside Alton Towers itself. You could plan an aquatic day out here and, after staying overnight, jump up the next day for a go on the rides and a runaround CBeebies Land. If you’re planning a family break, look no further.
