Attraction Information

The Alton Towers Resort is a big place to explore with your little ones as. it has so many great attractions to offer! If you are Hotel guests at The Alton towers Hotel you'd be silly not to plan a cheeky trip to the jaw-dropping Alton Towers Splash Landings waterpark during your staycation! Combine two days out in one or simply have a splashtacular time in the tropical pool waters of Staffordshire at The Alton Towers Waterpark.

Things to do
You've got your ticket for your water park entry, you've whacked on your swimming gear and your toes are now touching the majestic pool waves. But What do you try out first?

The Alton Towers Waterpark has pretty much every trimming available, from the soothing sounds of the Bubbly Wubbly pool (our favourite name in the place) to the fully interactive water features in the Wacky Waterworks Treehouse. This huge attraction is packed full of water thrills from Outdoor Flume Adventures to baby pools like Little Leak

Once up in the canopy, kids can pull ropes, shoot water cannons and whizz water wheels as fast as they’ll go.  As well as loads of rides (check out the Master Blaster!) and space to play, the park also has a balmy indoor temperature so you could just as well be kicking back on a tropical island. Go wild on the Flash Floods Flume Ride for a heart pounding experience. Go wild, shoot a blast of water at your friends and race down the largest slides onsite (whether that's indoor or outdoors!).

Watch out for those crazy cannons and tipping buckets while you are on the ground. Watch out for the buckets of water - they fill up to gallons! Take an epic spin on the water coaster or race your siblings down the water slide! Had enough of all those wacky water attractions and indoor fun? Outdoor we go! With a heated outdoor pool to enjoy in the Summer months as well, you can enjoy a relaxing swim under the open skies! This impressive Water park is a must visit for all families.

There are multiple pools to choose from to suit whatever age and level of confidence your child is at. For toddlers, try the Little Leak pool! This shallow pool is full of colourful interactive play features and games. For more confident swimmers who prefer a gentle swim, grab your rubber ring and laze the day away in Calypso Creek.

With indoor and outdoor slides, a water rollercoaster, water jets, an indoor pool & outdoor pools you are sure to have a day out overflowing with loads of fun. Enrich your next family  adventure with a two-day at the Alton Towers Resort!

Food & Drink
Need to refuel? The Adventurer's Cave is right in the middle of the Waterpark. It serves snacks and refreshments, so you don't even have to get changed! Mermaids & mermen need a break too, you know? Enjoy lots of scrumptious food whether it's hot food or cold food. Sink your teeth into family favourites like jacket potatoes, burgers, hot dogs and kids meal deals (sandwich meal deals with fruit). There is no reservation for meal times as the Adventurer's Cave is more of a food kiosk that serves light bites.

Please do not bring your own food & drinks to the waterpark as picnics are not allowed.

If you are looking to explore the park's many restaurants, then feel free to check out our Alton Towers Restaurants article. Find everything from Flambo's Exotic Feast Restaurant, delicious smoothies and burger kitchens to explorers pizza & pasta buffets and more! There's a great selection of food and lunches for guests at Alton Towers.
