Tatton Park is a brilliant place for a family day out, with 4 attractions to enjoy, and a combined entry ticket option that allows you to see all of them in one day! There are over 1,000 acres of Parkland to explore, a Farm full of animals, a fascinating Mansion, plus Gardens that include a maze!
The parklands and gardens are open all year, while the mansion and farm are open throughout the summer, with the farm remaining open at weekends during Low Season.
The Parkland is great for walking or biking, with a number of recommended routes to follow, herds of lovely fallow and red deer, a bird hide, and an adventure playground with over 30 rides! The Tatton Park Explorer booklet is available to download for free, and provides a great way to see the Park.
The Farm is great to visit whatever the weather as many of the animals are indoors! There are plenty of animals including donkeys, cows, poultry, horses, sheep, and pigs. You can see the new Jersey cow, called Lou, being milked at 14:00 every day during the summer. There are plenty of activities available at the Farm, including a woodland play trail, den building and an indoor play area with toy tractors.
The Gardens are also great for kids, with a brilliant maze to follow, plus a children's quiz that is available for a small charge.
Everyone will love exploring the historic Mansion, full of fascinating history. A fun Young World Explorer quiz is available for a small additional charge, which will help the kids seek out the Treasures of Tatton! And don't forget to visit the Old Hall, which is said to be haunted!
