Enjoy good scenery? Wendover Woods offers awesome views across Aylesbury Vale. In the mixed woodland, you can spot a wide variety of birds, including the rare Firecrest. So, a pair of binoculars and a camera might come in handy!
Why not try out a woodland trail for your next family adventure? Each magical trail offers the chance to explore different habitats from Nordic walking trails to easy access trails, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Wendover Woods is also home to the Gruffalo, seasonal activities and many active events.

Gruffalo Party Trail!
Celebrate the Gruffalo's 25th birthday with his brand-new forest adventure!! He's missing some party items, so it's up to you to help locate them.
The family-friendly trail will also be filled with party-themed activities and fun games!
Cycling Adventures
If you like the fast life and love to explore the forest on two wheels, we suggest the cycling trails! They span out all across the forest and are a fantastic way for the family to enjoy a day out!
Highest hill in the Chilterns
The highest point is at 267 metres above sea level and is marked on a stone at the end of the Hilltop trail.
