What is the BBC Earth Experience?
Based on the award-winning series ‘Planet Earth’, narrated by David Attenborough, Earl’s Court hosts an immersive experience where visitors can travel across the seven worlds of our planet.
How is this possible, I hear your ask? While listening to the familiar and warm tones of David Attenborough’s voice, guests will be stood in a room that has been transformed by the latest digital technology. From every angle, landscapes and animals from the natural world will be projected onto the walls. You’ll wander around the immersive scenery feeling every sight and sound in nature.
This mind-blowing attraction also has breakout zones where you can dive even deeper… Plunge into the Water World or absorb the spectacular sweeping landscapes of the Vista Stage. Test your bravery by meeting some creepy crawlies in the Micro Life Zone area (they will be on the screens, don’t worry!)
No explorer wants to be tied down to a specific route. The art to this immersive experience lies in its authentic adventure. Follow your own path in this majestic 360-degree audio visual journey. Connect with animals you never dreamed of being so close too. Observe every crystal clear detail of each scale, fin, or blade of hair.

How old do you have to be?
This epic adventure is open to all ages! Kids will adore the creepy crawlies on screen alongside other incredible wildlife footage. This immersive attraction will feel as if you’ve landed at the centre of the famous television series. There is nothing too overwhelming included in the experience so your little ones should be okay. If they are more than happy to watch Blue Planet II or Planet Earth II (latest documentaries) then they will love this experience.
How long does the BBC Earth Experience last?
The experience takes around 1 hour, however you are welcome to stay as long as you like to enjoy all we have to offer at The Daikin Centre.
When is the BBC Earth Experience open for visitors?
he ground-breaking new attraction will officially open at Earls Court Exhibition Centre on the 30th March 2023! It will be open 7 days a week. Here is it’s timetable…

Are there any upcoming BBC Earth events in 2022?
Sadly not but there have been many in the past! While the purpose-built venue will not be ready until 2023, you can take a look at BBC Earth’s previous shows online. They have hosted lots of fascinating events for families to enjoy.
There have been talks, live concerts, and workshops that have included the UK’s leading figures on all things Earthly and extra-terrestrial… That’s right, experts like the much-loved animal man, Steve Backshall and the incredible leading physicist Brian Cox, have entertained audiences with their extensive knowledge on all things ‘life’.

- Ever wondered how this famous series shows us the changing climates in each episode? The team on Planet Earth uses flawless time-lapse photography to show climate and seasonal changes. They do this by placing a camera in a stationary position where it takes photographs over days, weeks, or even months which condenses time.
- The music from BBC Earth’s series Blue Planet II was composed by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer. You may already know his work from The Lion King, to the Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Inception, Interstellar and 12 Years a Slave!
