What’s Included in the Afternoon Tea?
The Balbosté catering studio has teamed up with LOEWE to create a different take on an English afternoon tea.
With sweet treats and bakes and cakes centred around key characters from the iconic film. As well as food depicting key scenes, it’s playful, imaginative and cute!
Savoury Snacks
For the savoury snacks, you’ll find delicious club sandwiches made to look like rolling meadows, like the fields in the film. There are impressive vermicelli broomsticks with sauce placed in ramekins shaped like Sophie’s hat!
As well as a lobster bun, crackers, choucroute in a roll and fruit ‘flower pies‘. All very interesting but equally tempting treats!
Sweet Treats
There is also a cloud jelly cake, to represent the clear blue skies in Howl’s meadow and matcha bretzel!
But the icing on the cake is a macaron version of Calcifer himself! Steeped on a little frying pan. You’ll find a bow on the edge that is actually edible, made out of fruit leather!
What Else is There?
Snack on popcorn and other treats while you sit back and relax.
Then soar high into The Cloud Room, as you dive deeper into the world of imagination behind the special event. Enjoy the sky installation and pick up your complimentary poster to commemorate the event!
If you’re ready to dive into the world of Studio Ghibli or you’re a longtime fan that has waited for something like this – you should visit Calcifer’s Kitchen! An innovative afternoon tea, that you’ll be sure to remember.
