We invited The Little Adventurer and her family to visit and to check out all the Easter fun at Gulliver’s Land! Read all about their experience here with their Gulliver’s Land Milton Keynes review.
About Gulliver’s Land
Variety of rides
One of the things that makes Gulliver’s Land so special is the incredible range of rides and attractions on offer. Whether you’re a fan of adrenaline-fuelled roller coasters, or you prefer gentler rides like carousels and teacups, there’s something here for everyone. From the Big Dipper to the Runaway Train, Gulliver’s Land has some of the most exciting rides you’ll ever experience.
But it’s not just about the rides at Gulliver’s Land. There are also tons of other great things to see and do here. For example, you can explore the incredible Lost World, where you’ll come face-to-face with animatronic dinosaurs that are so lifelike, you’ll swear they’re real! You can also take a ride on the log flume, or try your luck at one of the many carnival games on offer.

The Little Adventurer Family Day Out at Gulliver’s Land
What a fantastic day out for the whole family!
We visited during the Easter weekend and the whole place was decorated with eggs and bunnies. It was so cute. The kids absolutely loved it. They were spotting all the eggs as they went around.
Upon arrival, you are greeted by a team outside, they direct you to the correct designated queue. Once the gates are open you are guided through the gates, scan your tickets and then you stand in the courtyard while you wait for the 10:30 opening.
Mini Entertainment Show
We had a mini show with one of the Gulliver’s characters and members of staff dancing in the courtyard. All with music and bubbles. The kids actually loved it and had a little party! It helped pass the minutes by. Little went nuts chasing bubbles all over (sorry if you’re the man he ran into a few times!).
Little Adventurer Guide Gulliver’s Land Rides and Attractions
Gullivers Land has many rides for children over 90cm in height. If they’re under 90 cm they go in for free. Little is 110cm so he had the best day going on the majority of the rides. There were only a couple that he couldn’t go on. This was fine as they were more suitable for bigger kids anyway.
Indoor and Outdoor Attractions
There is a ride for everyone, whether you’re a thrillseeker and want to ride a rollercoaster or want something more relaxing like a gentle paddle down a little Safari stream. There’s also attractions indoors so you can go and enjoy a show- perfect if the weather is rainy! There’s also an indoor play area for toddlers to go and spend time in too.
I was quite surprised with the queue time for the rides, we managed to get on so many rides very quickly with maybe 20 minute queue max, and that was only for one ride, the rest of them were only a few minutes queue. This was great as we all know how little ones are very impatient in queues! On the day that we attended, there was only one ride out of action for maintenance, which I thought was pretty good.
There is a splash zone park too. We didn’t actually visit this area, (mummy wasn’t getting wet!) but if you plan to make sure you take swimwear with you to explore the area! Will be a fantastic place to have fun in the summer holidays!
Dinosaur Lost World
We upgraded our tickets to explore the Dinosaur Lost World because Little is desperate to see the dinosaurs! This area is located back out of the main park across the car park. We were given a stamp so that we could go back into the main park and make our way to the dinosaur park. This is located about a five minute walk through the car park, down the road through the arches until you’ve reached the dinosaurs! The dinosaur theme park has multiple dinosaur statues and animatronic dinosaurs for little ones to see. We also took a boat ride which was really cool.
It’s a really fun part of the park. Perfect for any dino fan and we recommend visiting the area.
Farm Animals
You’ll also find a petting farm at Gulliver’s Land which is called the Cuddle Corner. Here you’ll find guinea pigs and rabbits. You are also able to feed animals by purchasing a bag of food for £1. I think it’s definitely worth doing however, you might have animals that are not actually hungry because they’ve already been fed. We walked around and offered the food and they didn’t want it so we came back a little bit later on and offered it again and they took it. There’s a hatchery where you can see little chicks, at the moment there were a few species of chicks in the hatchery. We particularly like the reptile house as Little found the African land snails. He loves snails!!
I also noticed that there’s going to be a Hungry Caterpillar area coming soon which is very exciting and we’d love to see that!
Facilities at Gulliver’s Land
There are a lot of facilities within the theme park. Toilet facilities are scattered throughout the park including disabled and baby changing units. You can also find something to eat at pretty much any corner, the main area is called the Food Castle.
Picnic Area
We took a picnic because it was a beautiful day and there are ample amounts of benches and seating for you to do that. I also liked that there are designated smoking areas within the theme park. One of my personal pet peeves is people smoking around my children. So I really like the idea that there was a designated area for people to go and do that. I also appreciated how many bins they had, which helps keep the place so much tidier. This made my little eco warrior very happy, he hates litter.
Shopping
If you are like me and like to visit the shops there are plenty! Gift shops, sweet shops, you name it! The gift shop has a really good range of items to purchase too. I particularly like the insect kits they have available!
The Little Adventurer’s Top Tips for Gulliver’s Land
We had a fantastic time. The place was kept clean and tidy, it was very well organised and all members of staff were extremely helpful and friendly and explained every aspect of the rides once you were on them. I liked that the park wasn’t too crowded either. My child is autistic and doesn’t cope with overcrowded places, neither does mummy!
Be prepared for lots of walking
It’s a brilliant day out, but be prepared for a lot of walking, take a pushchair if you have a little one or one that doesn’t like a lot of walking. Dress for any weather (pack raincoats) and make sure it’s comfy, definitely wear trainers. If you go on the log flume rides or water rides in general there are dryers nearby to dry off. You can also purchase a poncho or you can pack an extra top or cardigan to pop over while you’re dry off. (Or like daddy said, “the sun will dry you off”)
Book an overnight stay
If you can, book a stay over so that you can take advantage of another day at the park, the overnight stay looks magical. I’d also say that the theme park is suitable for ages 2 to 12 as the rides aren’t adult thrill rides.
