    We all want nice presents from Santa Claus and to tell him what we want. Sending a letter to Santa is a great way to make a personalised letter sent to the North Pole. We want to give you all the information you need; designing the letter, what to write in there and what post offices are available.

    This festive time will get everyone in the Christmas mood, so let the little ones write a letter to Santa for you to post. Both children and adults can write a Santa letter, making this a special time of the year for everyone!

    Designing The Letter

    We want to show you a fast and easy way to design Santa’s letter from home! This can become a great family tradition and get everyone involved.

    You’ll need:

    • Green or red card/paper
    • Coloured pens
    • Picture of Santa or Christmas trees
    • Glue stick
    • Extra accessories such as beds or

    Instructions:

    1. Get your green or red card, you can either fold the card in half or not
    2. Get pictures of Santa Claus or beds and get your glue ready
    3. Stick all the pictures and accessories around the edges of the letter. If you’re feeling extra creative why not draw a Christmas tree or Santa’s special reindeer?
    4. After designing the card with your favourite designs. Get ready to write the card
    5. You can use any coloured pen and make sure your writing stands out!

    What to Write

    • Make sure you always write your name and age so Santa knows who the card is from
    • You can also tell Santa how you’ve been good and are on the nice list. But if you’re on the naughty list then you must write to Santa about how you’re going to learn to stop being naughty.
    • Then make your list what gift ideas you want this year
    • Make sure to always say thank you and please in your Santa letters
    • Don’t forget to sign it with your name
    • To finish off the card you can purchase a festive envelope or North pole envelope if you’re feeling extra creative and Christmassy. The envelope for kids and adults are great for the whole family to get involved

    The Royal Mail offers a chance for you to send a Santa Letter direct to an address. The deadline for sending off the letter is the 30th November 2023. Just make sure to get a stamp as well.
