Fashionable River Island Picks for the Whole Family
Our weekend getaway was a delightful blend of fashion, beautiful scenery and family fun! As we explored the picturesque Norfolk countryside, the spotlight was on the fabulous clothes gifted to us by River Island. Let me take you through our memorable days, where style met lavender-scented gardens, playful adventures, and coastal escapades.
My dress, a khaki broderie-tiered midi shirt dress, was the epitome of comfort and style. It’s a great length to chase around after the kids. The breathable fabric and flattering silhouette made it a perfect choice for our active weekend. Meanwhile, my children rocked their River Island ensembles—the denim jacket studded with faux diamonds for my daughter and the quality hoodie-and-shorts combo for my son. River Island truly understands how to make clothes that are both fashionable and functional.
Our first stop was Norfolk Lavender, a haven of fragrant blooms and serene landscapes. As we strolled through the gardens, the air was infused with the soothing scent of lavender. The vibrant purple hues provided an ideal backdrop for our impromptu photoshoot. Our children loved running up and down the lavender garden and blowing their bubbles. There’s a lovely cafe and the lavender scones are a must have! Absolutely delicious.
Next stop, Hunstanton! Whilst in Hunstanton, we just had to visit the promenade’s charming nautical themed play park where the kids could unleash their energy… My khaki, floaty dress proved the perfect outfit as I climbed the play structures and joined in their games.
Our adventure continued a short walk down on sunny hunny’s red-cliff beach. The rugged shoreline revealed hidden treasures—rock pools teeming with barnicles, muscles and clam shells, they even found a washed up jellyfish, which they were thrilled about!! The kids’ excitement was contagious as they collected a bucket each of the best shells and stones they could find. Our River Island clothes adapted seamlessly to beach combing, allowing us to explore nature’s wonders without hesitation.
We decided to explore another beach whilst in the area. Despite the weather’s imperfections, the vast sandy expanse of Wells-Next-The-Sea stretched before us. My husband and the kids flew kites against the coastal breeze, their laughter echoing. Digging in the sand, running along the beach, and playing kites—it was a wholesome day to remember.
We walked miles and were so impressed by the quality and comfort of our shoes.
Our Final Thoughts
River Island not only dressed us in style but also became an integral part of our weekend adventure. From elegant khaki dresses to cosy hoodies, their clothes added flair and comfort. As we returned home, lavender-scented memories and salty sea breezes lingered. Thank you, River Island, for making our weekend one to treasure.
