Rides at Diggerland, Durham
Watch your child's eyes light up as they jump in the hot seat of real diggers, dumpers and other full-sized construction machinery! With 20 different rides and over 100 awesome machines on site this is a destination for action! Mini diggers are a chance for children to sniff out some buried treasure and get a real feeling for what it's like to work on earth moving machinery. Dumper Trucks are a firm favourite and have their very own, purpose-built course. Every piece of machinery offers an exciting experience for children.
Go Karts and Mini Landrovers Put your foot on the pedal and enjoy an off road ride with the mini tractors, go-karts or mini Landrovers! These will soon become some of your children's favourite rides! Groundshuttle is a bigger off road ride which places you in a purpose built carriage on the front of a telehandler. Get ready for some rocking and rolling about!
Exciting rides
If you are feeling daring, why not reach lofty heights and fly 50 ft. up in the air on the Skyshuttle attraction. Trust us, the awe-inspiring views are truly amazing up there! Turn your world upside down with head reeling turns on Spindizzy, an experience you won't forget! You enter seating at the base of the digger arm to then be dipped and tipped. Be warned Spindizzy shows no mercy, but it's super fun!
Please not that minimum height restrictions do apply on all attractions at Diggerland Durham.

An indoor soft play and games arcade area are additional activities at Diggerland Durham. The soft play is included in the admission price.
Food and Drink at Diggerland Durham
There is an indoor cafe serving a wide selection of hot meals and light snacks. Pick up a warm cappuccino, a perfect pick me up for tired parents or treat the kids to a fizzy drink. Also, when the weather is good there's cafe outdoor seating. Diggerland has a five star food hygiene rating.
