Attraction Information

Fancy an active day out that the kids won’t forget in a hurry? Head out to Go Ape Leeds Castle - it combines scenic views of ancient forests with the unforgettable thrills of two high-ropes adventure experiences fit for royals.

You can expect a Tarzan swing, rope crossings, zip wire rides, jungle crossings, and so much more from your Go Ape experience at Leeds Castle. Climb to the very tops of the forest canopy while taking a leap of faith across the stunning skyline before finishing on the ultimate zipline finale.

But before you take your first steps on the ladder, you'll be happy to know a team of friendly staff will give you a safety briefing alongside a safety practice run. Learn which clips go where, what to do in an emergency and how each section of the challenging courses works.

Fun Activities for Thrill Seekers

Kick off your woodland adventure and swing into action over 500 acres of picturesque parklands. From stepping stones to log bridges, your brave little monkeys will have plenty of exciting obstacles to conquer on their Treetop Adventure. The course has no age limit, the only requirement is being over 1 metre tall. This means even your tots can take part!

Feeling in the mood for a challenge? Take on Treetop Adventure Plus, designed for daredevils over 6 years and 1.2m tall, you can take on the twisty tank trap and the Chamonix Crossing, followed by an epic solo 75-metre zip wire. You're sure to have an awesome time on this one.

Ape-sized adventurers can earn their spot as a King or Queen of the forest on the Treetop Challenge, which includes twisty, butterfly-inducing crossings, wobbly bridges and five hair-raising zips - two of which are over 250m long. You’ll see, it’s no mean feat! Did you know Go Ape Leeds Castle has five of the most epic zip wires in Kent?

The adventure doesn’t have to end when you’re back on the ground! Make a day of it and explore the beautiful parkland and gardens of the 900-year-old Leeds Castle, which was home to six queens and Henry VIII himself. There are also lots of exciting events throughout the year like Medieval Jousting Tournaments, open-air cinema showings and evening bat walks.

Go Ape offers the perfect adventure for nature-loving families or families who wish to shake up their days out with a dollop of thrill! From high-rope adventures with lots of challenges to ancient history and endless idyllic walking routes, Go Ape Leeds Castle is the perfect family day out!
