Things To Do At Chatham Ski & Snowboard Centre
At Chatham Ski and Snowboard Centre, open sessions on the ski slope have a minimum skill requirement, but they do great family-friendly lessons, and tot's special sessions with fun and games while they build up their skill base and confidence.
One of the biggest highlights? The awesome toboggan run! Hold on tight as you twist, turn, and zoom down the 700m track, guaranteed to have the whole family giggling from start to finish. It’s the perfect activity for kids and grown-ups who love a little thrill without needing to be pro skiers!
Did you know they have the UK's longest toboggan run?! That has to be the best reason why you NEED to visit!
The toboggan is a wonderful activity involving little skill and lots of thrill but does have age restrictions: Children under aged 4 cannot ride; between 4-7 years they have to ride with an adult aged 16 and over (who is not charged). And children over the age of 8 must ride on their own.
For those wanting to hit the slopes, Chatham Snowsports Centre offers skiing and snowboarding sessions for beginners and experts alike. With expert instructors on hand, even total newbies can learn the ropes and build confidence on the dry slopes. Got a child dreaming of snowboarding like a pro? This is the place to start!
Slip, slide and whiz down their new 80m Viper Slide track in a sno-tube! This bouncy, spinning, slide-down-the-hill experience is an absolute blast for kids who love a little adventure.
