Lashenden Air Warfare Museum
Ashford, KentAbout Lashenden Air Warfare Museum
You can catch live flybys atLashenden Air Warfare Museum by vintage aircraft including P51 Mustangs Spitfires! Be ready for the sound of the klaxon that tells you it's definitely time to lookup!
The Museum has a spectacular array of aviation and aircraft exhibits housed in 2 special buildings that even young kids will enjoy seeing close to. Older types have a huge amount of information to access should they have the urge, and true enthusiasts have several rare gems to get excited about, though as some of them are maintained off site and the exhibits are rotated, we're not going to specify which for fear of disappointing you! Suffice to say there's plenty for real Airheads to enjoy.
There's great disabled access and parking but no disabled toilet facilities.
It's well worth keeping an eye out in the warmer months for events held here as there are several, including special multi-fly days and festivals. All of it is family appropriate.
