About Maidstone Museum and Bentlif Gallery
Maidstone Museum and Bentlif Gallery is housed in an Elizabethan manor house, and is one of the best in the South-East. Maidstone Museum has displays and information on a large range of subjects from natural history, fine and applied art and human history. A great place to explore and get help with your homework! See our 2,500 year old Egyptian mummy; journey through time to when dinosaurs walked the Earth (and Maidstone), as well as the local history of Maidstone, archaeological and regimental history. There's always something to see and do! During the school holidays there is an activity on every day Monday to Friday!
