Best Things To Do & Days Out In Bradford, West Yorkshire
A hub of industry, there are plenty of great things to do in Bradford for an educational and fun family day out.
The Bradford Industrial Museum is on the site of a former mill and shows how mill workers lived and worked throughout history. Marvel at the old-fashioned clunky looking machinery and imagine what it would’ve been like to work in the mill, where the noise would’ve been so loud it drowned out your own thoughts. See photos and and equipment that depict working life in a time gone by.
Movie lovers will enjoy the National Media Museum. Find your favourite moment in film or TV, have a go at creating your own storyboard and make a mini movie in the animation studio to remember your Bradford family day out.
There are plenty of play spaces for smaller children too. Geronimo's is 9,000sq ft. of fun featuring cargo nets, slides, climbing frames and more.
