Fell Foot Park
Windermere, CumbriaAbout Fell Foot Park
Fell Foot Park is a great family friendly location to play in and explore the southern tip of Lake Windermere. There's plenty of open space for traditional family bat, ball and frisbee games, festooned with picnics and gentle walks including an educational tree trail which will lead you around a lot of the park. If you're feeling a bit more active (good for you!) you can dip into the lake via paddling, swimming, boating and kayaking. Family rowing boats for hire here April through October and comfy kayaks are available 19 July through 31 August (also the availability dates of the new climbing wall!) and the adventure playground offers fun for all ages and is open year round offering physical and imagination play to kids between 2 and 12, including that climbing wall we mentioned!
There are loads of events held here ranging from major park festivals to quiet evening guided bat walks! Plenty to supplement an already great day out if you give it a bit of planning. If you'd rather take things more whimsically however, remember you can hit up DOWTK on your mobile to see what we've got for you nearby. Fun on the hop? That's us!
