Attraction Information

Brockhole Lake District Visitors' Centre on the shores of Windermere has loads to do outdoors and indoors with a 30 acre site of shoreline, woodland and meadow to explore with trails available to buy to help motivate the kids.

When the beautiful surroundings have exhausted you, there is also an adventure playground for 5 to 14 year olds packed with rope walks, slides, swings, scramble nets and zip wires. A miniature play steamer and wooden fort will get those imaginations going. A special separate area for under sevens includes swings and a wacky noise tunnel.

A Treetop Trek aerial adventure is available for over 5 year olds and gets you up in the treetops on ropes, bridges and canopies.

If the weather isn't so good, there is also an indoor Soft Play and Creativity Space and a 2 metre high traversing wall suitable for all ages.
