Go Ape in 2020!

Take the tribe and head to the forest for the ultimate treetop adventure, or explore the forest on a segway!

Attraction Information

If you thought a visit to the Lake District was for laid back relaxation, then you haven’t seen Go Ape Grizedale; this all-action centre is home to a whopping five different adventures with something for all ages. The hardest part is choosing where to start…
Starting with the littlest monkeys, this Treetop Adventure course is the only one with tricky tiered crossings, but with two zip wires to look forward to, it’s well worth the climb. Also great for families and kids over 1.2m tall, Treetop Adventure+ is even more action-packed with new crossings to contend with, and even a little taster of the Treetop Challenge course for those with nerves of steel.
In it for the zip wires? Buddy up for the ultimate 3km tandem zip wire through the Lake District forest and get ready to scream if you want to go faster - the longest zip is an impressive 500m long. Last but not least, if you prefer your feet on firm ground, you can take to the trails on a Forest Segway experience.

  • Your choice of high ropes course for all ages
  • Home of amazing zip wires
  • Go off-road on a Forest Segway
