A working destination, committed to conserving, saving and sharing its internationally important collection of boats and objects - learn, create and be inspired. There are hands-on interactive exhibits, boat trips on the lake, a model boating pond, special exhibitions and creative workshops for families, a meadow with lakeshore path to burn off steam and a children's menu in the cafe to refuel and relax. Picnic benches outside with views of the lake and fells are perfect if you want to bring your own snacks. The cafe and outdoor spaces welcome dogs on leads. The site is accessible for pushchairs.
