With short, high quality, video introductions and impressive video answers discussing the storyline, the reasons behind mysteries or crimes, and are often delivered by a police robot called RC1.
Suspects are brilliantly designed, with colourful 3D characters. All mysteries are based on historical facts and legends from the local area they are discussing.
By the end of the Trails, you will be amazed at how far you’ve walked and how fantastic the fresh air in your lungs has been for your health! The trails are headlined by exciting introductory videos which uncover enthralling local histories and characters - such as the Pendle Witches, or the legend of the location of King Arthur’s legendary sword, Excalibur.
The trails can be downloaded quickly to a printable A5 trail booklet or an interactive digital/mobile output and each have a unique mystery to solve in a local area.
All trails end with an exciting video, narrated by RC1, the police robot, bringing the trail to an interactive finale by examining the guilty parties and the reasons behind the crimes or mysteries, and giving the story an interesting start, middle and concluding ending for the trail detectives.
These trails are an absolute bargain, are driven for all ages, especially those who normally lead a digital life, and are driven to enable more than two hours of exciting clue finding and solving.

The main Train and Bus Staions in Windermere terminate at the start-point of the Windermere Trial. Clu 1 can be found in a matter of metres from the main buses (555 etc) or the main trainline (Only 1 platform).
